Indications / Uses

Betnovate Lotion is clinically indicated for:

Eczema (atopic and contact dermatitis)

Psoriasis

Red, itchy, or inflamed skin conditions

Relief of pruritus, burning, and skin irritation associated with chronic dermatoses

Mechanism of Action

Reduces inflammation by inhibiting the metabolism of arachidonic acid.

Decreases mast cell density and suppresses cytokine production in lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils.

Prevents late-phase allergic reactions, reducing redness, swelling, and irritation.

Dosage & Administration

Adults & Children: Apply sparingly 2–3 times daily on the affected area.

Drug Interactions

CYP3A4 inhibitors such as Ritonavir and Itraconazole may interact.
