Clinacin-T Gel 20g – Clindamycin & Tretinoin Gel for Acne Treatment

Clinacin-T Gel 20g is a prescription topical acne medication that combines Clindamycin Phosphate (a lincosamide antibiotic) and Tretinoin (a Vitamin A derivative retinoid). It is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris, including inflammatory pimples, blackheads (open comedones), whiteheads (closed comedones), papules, and pustules.

This dual-action formula targets the primary causes of acne: bacterial overgrowth, excess sebum production, clogged pores, and inflammation.

How Clinacin-T Gel Works
Clindamycin Phosphate (Topical Antibiotic)

Inhibits growth of Cutibacterium acnes (acne-causing bacteria)

Reduces redness, swelling, and inflammation

Helps prevent infected acne lesions

Tretinoin (Topical Retinoid)

Normalizes skin cell turnover (keratinization)

Promotes shedding of dead skin cells

Prevents blockage of hair follicles

Reduces formation of early acne lesions (blackheads and whiteheads)

Helps regulate sebum build-up

Together, this combination therapy provides comedolytic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effects, improving overall skin clarity and texture.
